I have no idea how I've reached the age of 49 without knowing how to knit, but I have, and I was wondering if there is someone out there who is open to meeting me at a coffee shop or Borders or wherever and showing me some knitting basics. I'm unemployed and broke and I figured I'd knit my family members scarves for Christmas, regardless of whether they need or like scarves. I'll buy you a cup of coffee or tea, and I happen to think I'm good company. So if you're bored, in the Six Forks I-540 area, know how to knit and you have the patience to teach someone who is known to be a klutz, please email me.
