The Scrap Exchange is pleased to offer the following 4-part class on hand-sewing techniques for making dolls and stuffed animals.

INTRODUCTION TO HAND SEWING: DOLLS AND STUFFED ANIMALS
Instructor: Louise Seamster
Description: Learn to sew by creating unique toys and art dolls for yourself, or to give as gifts. You can reuse clothes and fabric to make something new and beautiful. Use existing patterns or stretch your imagination to make up your own. This 4-week class is for all levels of experience. Scrap Exchange materials are included—your own materials and supplies are welcome, too.
Date: Wednesdays, November 4, 11, 18, and December 2
Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Cost: $85 plus $5 for materials
About the instructor: Louise Seamster is a knitter, seamstress, and teacher in Durham. Her work features primarily recycled materials and is currently for sale at theseamster.etsy.com. Louise was also a featured artist in the 2008 Holiday Craftland exhibit at The Scrap Exchange.
