Affiliated Engineers, Inc., a national design consulting engineering company, has an immediate opening for Plumbing/Piping Engineer in our Chapel Hill, NC office.
We are looking for plumbing engineers with experience ing and knowledge of the consulting industry. Successful candidates will have experience in plumbing and piping systems with a solid knowledge of piping materials, equipment specifications, fluid hydraulics, medical/lab gas systems, waste and water systems, and fire protection. This person will use his or her skills to design plumbing and piping systems for industrial, medical, R&D, biotech and pharmaceutical facilities. Qualifications include being detail and quality oriented, having strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent knowledge of coordination and construction process, and an above average ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. We prefer a candidate with a BSME or CPD and plumbing engineering experience; however, we will also consider recent engineering graduates.
