| December Ride (Families with Children) Dead Broke Farm is offering a 1-hour ride to members of Raleigh Horse Riders meetup group on Sun, Dec 6th at 2pm at 6921 Wildlife Trail. Members will receive a $10 discount per person off our normal rates when they RSVP. The cost is just $40/person. Children can ride on their own when they are ages 6 and up. Younger children may go on the trail ride, but they will ride double with our experienced guided (riding in front of the guide in the same saddle). If you have a child who needs to ride with a guide, be sure to indicate that when you RSVP as those opportunities are limited to just 5 children. We have lots of other farm animals to entertain the children after the ride: chickens, dogs, cats, peacocks, guineas, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, and bunnies. We also have a picnic area and a playground that you're welcome to use for as long as you'd like. Some come on out and join other families as they enjoy our beautiful trails by horseback.
