an appliance dolly rated at 800lbs; for refrigerators, washers/dryers, and very heavy furniture
various platform dollies with carpeted or rubber surfaces, rated at 800-1000 lbs
large moves are no problem, as I have many able-bodied friends with whom I regularly work
My rates:
For two or more people:
$35/hr per person for the first two hours, and $30/hr per person thereafter. $70 minimum per person.
For just myself:
$45/hr for the first two hours, and $40/hr thereafter. $90 minimum.
For moves of an hour or less involving only a few items, my rates may be negotiable
Cash only please! Time begins upon arrival and ends when payment is received. Partial hours are prorated in quarter-hour increments.
That's it! No travel fees* or hidden charges.
* No travel charge for moves within or between any of the following Triangle-area cities: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Pittsboro, Cary, Morrisville, Apex, Garner, and Fuquay-Varina
Please note that the one service I am unable to provide is the transportation of your belongings. This is heavily regulated by the NC Utilities Commission. You will save a lot of money by simply renting a truck(Uhaul, Penske, Budget, Ryder, Enterprise, Hertz Trucks) or portable storage unit (PODs, ABF Upack, Pack Rats, SAM, and more) and using my services to load and unload your belongings.
