Position Responsibilities

Direct company’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs, and corporate communications. Facilitate internal and external membership development through marketing and member services programs.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the company. Support and facilitate development and implementation of section business/marketing plans.

2. Plan and administer the company’s marketing operations budget; support development of regional marketing budgets.

3. Oversee Charitable Contributions and participation in all Charity events

4. Organize and implement member relations including:
• Satisfaction surveys
• Awareness development activities
• Special events

5. Oversee business development activities to include:
• Coordinating community outreach event participation
• Assisting Clubs in strategic planning for client presentations
• Working with regional locations client contact systems.
• Identifying new avenues of grassroots based marketing

6. Oversee corporate communications activities including:
• external communications and systems
• public relations efforts
• external vendors and consultants

7. Develop and administer marketing database including client and prospect information. Manage monthly and quarterly prospect evaluation and recapture.

8. Support and assist in developing company’s involvement in various Corporate Health networks including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships.

9. Design and plan quarterly marketing training seminars.

10. Oversee company’s Web based initiatives, including supervision of Web site maintenance, and all online advertising.

11. Coordinate all Social Media operations, including maintaining Twitter and Facebook accounts with daily postings.

12. Produce internal member marketing documents (in-club signage, handouts, announcements, etc.)

13. Oversee employee recognition programs.

11. Provide administrative support to company President.


Employment Standards

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.

Experience: Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program. Recent graduates may provide college projects and/or internships as consideration for experience.

Required Skills: Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with team members at all levels within the organization. Applicant must possess top-level business management and facilitation skills, in addition to polished presentation and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications, as well as basic proficiency in graphic design software suites (i.e., Adobe Illustrator) is required.
