B.R.Zoom-X, an exciting young marketing agency, is seeking a full time Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to hit the streets of Raleigh.
The winning candidate will know the local scene like the back of his/her hand. He/she will have an established social network of like-minded people always looking at finding what’s next, and have a diverse knowledge of the local social scene (not just bars and clubs)—but most importantly will have a passion for Pabst. This person will have to demonstrate how they would work that passion into the Raleigh community.
Responsibilities:
The B.R.Zoom-X Field Marketing Manager “owns” his/her market. As the market owner, the FMM is responsible and ultimately accountable for:
• Being the voice and person behind PBR to consumers in Raleigh. To become “The PBR Guy/Girl”
• Exuding real enthusiasm for the PBR brand and a passion to help the brand become a fixture within Raleigh
• Identifying and executing appropriate event and sponsorship opportunities
• Owning a part of the PBR blog. Post pictures and videos of events. Maintain a calendar of events. Make it yours, make it an extension of PBR
• Networking and maintaining relationships with key market influencers
• Leading quality execution of brand marketing programs
• Strengthening and growing their market by gaining on-premise distribution in partnership with the brand team, sales team and distributor
• The communication process with the client, management and other relevant parties
• Responsible management of a local marketing budget
• Maintaining proper inventory levels of event materials such as product, signage and supplies
• Establishing himself/herself as a trusted strategic business partner to PBR
Qualifications:
• Marketing, promotion, event management and/or sales merchandising experience (preferred)
• Lived in the local market for at least two years
• Demonstrates a unique enthusiasm for life represented by a passion for things like music, art, or outdoor activities like skateboarding, biking, snowboarding, etc… Also has the ability to leverage those passions into appropriate activities for PBR
• Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• Outgoing personality with strong oral and written communication skills
• Tech-savvy with knowledge and experience interacting with on-line social networks and blogs
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Clean, valid drivers license and reliable transportation
The B.R.Zoom-X Field Marketing Manager reports directly to the PBR Program Director at B.R.Zoom-X.
