I am 7 months old. My old owners said I was a Shepherd mix ...my temp mom thinks I may have some Retriever or Boxer in me too! They also said I was current on all my shots, but they didn't supply the paperwork. I am neutered, though - so it's probably true. I am not housebroken, but I'm very smart & will be easy to train. I can tell the difference between a shadow & another person or animal! I also understand that I need to walk back the way I came to free my lead when I've walked around something - none of the other rescues can do that! I'm also very very sweet & have a completely open heart. I think I could get along with pretty much anybody. I love to go for rides, too!

I am 2 years old, weigh around 85 lbs, am current on shots & spayed. I am housebroken, but I kind of got confused at the shelter...my temporary mom says it's okay though - she says I'm getting back into the swing of things very well! I am a big dog, but I do well on my walks with a harness. I'm a very very sweet loving girl & get along well with the others my temp mom saved. The 6 month old Shepherd puppy gets on my nerves a little though - he always wants my toy, even though it's just like his...geeehz! O'Reilly is one handsome boy, that's for sure. He's quieter than his siblings but still loves to play. Dog that is already spayed/neutered = $70
Senior Dogs = $50

Adoption Fee includes: all shots, rabies shot, de-worming, micro-chip & registration, spay/neuter surgery, free $500 medical benefit from VCA hospitals.
The deposit price of $50 and the FTA deposit of $200 are not effected by these changes.

Rocky is a sweet, beautiful, active little guy who loves attention and other dogs. He's about 30 pounds and is in great health. While living with his former owner he was subjet to beatings with a rubber hose and being shocked with a cattle prod. He'll never have to feel that pain again thanks to an angel who saved him from a lifetime of abuse and surely a terrible death.

Rocky has come leaps and bounds since living with his angel. He walks very well on a leash and is crate trained can sit, stay, and come. Rocky loves other dogs. He's nervous around cats. He is mostly potty-trained, but we're fine-tuning it.

Rocky needs to be in a home where gentleness and love rule the house. He would prefer to have a fenced in back yard or be adopted by someone who likes to walk, run, or hike. He's a dog's dog and he loves his walks.

She is completely free with bed, her shampoos and toys etc.
i just want her to have a more suitable home for her (land for her to run around on, lots of outdoor time, more attention).

Casper appears to be a shy guy in demeanor, but really it's just a front for his sweet side and active playfulness. Houdini boy is definitely a showstopper! He loves attention, the more the better, and lives up to his name. He finds creative ways to escape the play pen to get his toys! Both babies enjoy playing with their foster brothers, wrestling with toys and getting plenty of belly rubs. They are both great around children and are doing well with potty training. The boys are crated during the day and even go in on their own. Houdini does great on a leash and Casper is really working hard at getting used to it. Casper and Houdini are gentle, adorable babies who are eager to please and just want to be loved.

First is Brownie, who is mostly brown and black, and second is Cali, a little black and white sweetheart. Both weigh about 30 lbs.
The girls’ mom was left in the woods to die, and gave birth to all of her kids out there. Sydney, the mama, nursed her babies and kept them warm despite being terribly ill herself. Sydney is now still recovering due to a heart problem, heartworm and lung problems. All of Brownie and Cali's other brothers and sisters were adopted, and now it's just these lovely girls left needing a home to call their own. I’ve been given the name Highway, and I guess I understand why, because I would not be here to tell my story if a kind lady hadn't pulled me out of the road right before I was about to be hit by a car! I really didn’t mean to put myself in danger. I was just looking for food on the road. I was starving!

I had the best kind of luck, because the kind lady was able to catch me, and she took me home with her. She was so sweet to me - she fed me and also gave me a bath because I was so full of fleas and really, really thin. I even get to sleep on a nice, cozy bed! I’m estimated to be about 8 months old and I’m pretty good around cats and other dogs. Because of what’s happened to me, I am a little scared of things so I think I will need a lot of love and attention. I would totally love to have a fenced yard & maybe go to the ocean and swim too, because I really think that I might like the water a lot! My adoption fee includes my first shot, bordatella, worming, rabies and my neuter cost. My foster home is in the Wilmington area so come and meet me!

I love attention, I'll purr quite happily when you are loving on me - I just adore being petted. I also love to rub my face against yours. Want to pick me up and carry me around - that's great - it means more attention for me!
I get along really well with people (of course). My previous family had small children - they liked to pick me up and carry me around - which is fine by me. When Dot and I were first put together I popped her on the head, well she popped me right back and all was well. In fact now we like to hang out together (did you see our picture above?) I think I need a kitty that will put me in my place from time to time. Odd I know! I'd be a great only cat! Dogs kind of scare me so I'd prefer a dog-free home.
Overall I'm a very sweet boy, a total love in fact. So ... are you my future forever family? If so please hurry up and adopt me, my bags are packed and I'm ready to go home!
