I married a Canadian back in 2002. For two years they would not let him enter the U.S. In 2004 they finally did and he got his social security card and work permit and began working in 2005. He worked till 04/2008 when we were told his Adjustment of Status had been denied because of marijuana charges over 30 yrs ago in Canada which he has Canadian pardnns for. They told him he could no longer work legally.
In 07/2008 my husband had heart attack and died for about 30 minutes and thank God was brought back. He was hospitalized 8 days at Duke Hospital. He was hospitalized for three days at Alamance Regional for chest pains after that. He went to UNC within the last few months and had to have yet another stint put into his heart. We have had no health care since he lost his job. We are having an awful time of trying to make it as I stayed home and raised my four children from my former marriage.
When should forgiveness come to those who did wrong so long ago? My husband has done everything the legal way, not like over 20 million here that are illegal but yet they get to stay. Something is wrong with America and it's laws! Someone needs to do something about all this mess. Who will step up to the plate?
Hurting!!!
