We are looking for an Oracle Applications developer on behalf of our client, Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Durham, NC.
Summary
Our software engineer will design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications. The engineer will support and install these applications and participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
Responsibilities
* Designs and develops ORACLE based applications with minimal direction, performs code and unit testing for complex scope modules and projects.
* Works on multiple projects concurrently.
* Initiates project discussions with users or external groups, bringing issues to resolution.
* Performs independent technical analysis on complex projects.
* Assists in the creation of system test plans for complex modules and applications.
* Plans and conducts system unit testing.
* Very strong ORACLE PL/SQL knowledge and development experience
* Good understanding of ORACLE HRMS/Payroll Application is required.
* Good working experience in ORACLE Forms and Oracle Reports is a plus
* Any ORACLE Applications knowledge is acceptable too.
* Experience in UNIX shell scripting and WEB a plus.
* Must possess excellent system analysis skills.
* Prior experience in optimization and performance tuning of ORACLE processes a plus.
* Effective communication and documentation skills highly desired.
