I have a room in a shared apartment (which is 3 bedrooms total) up for sublet (you would take over my lease which ends in June 2010). The rent is $333.34 a person ($1000 total) and utilities are separate (typically 80-100 depending on energy use). The room is cable ready and available for immediate move-in upon meeting you and agreeing you would be a good fit for the apartment. (apartment is already furnished as well from mine and roommate's furniture minus the bedroom which you would need to furnish, although I do have a full size bed I'd be willing to negotiate if you might need one).
The apartment community is Woodland Court in Raleigh, near NCSU and off Gorman Street. The apartments are some of the nicest in the area and have the biggest 3 bedrooms in the area as well. The apartments are very quiet (non party-type) and are a good mixture of working professionals, families and students. The apartment is perfect for any NCSU, Meredith or Raleigh college student or young working professional. You can check out the apartment website and learn about all of the features here:
http://www.woodlandcourtapts.com The apartment has typical amenities such as pools, fitness center, etc. The leasing staff are also some of the nicest I've met.
As for a roomie, I'm trying to find someone who would be a good fit for my other roommates. Someone who is quiet, a non smoker indoors, drama free and responsible would be best suited. The other roommates are NCSU seniors, responsible and studious college students. Females only, at least 20 years old preferred as well. Prefer a student if possible, though young working professionals certainly welcome and you must be able to pay for the apartment obviously with proof of job/etc. Friendly people only please as well! Apartment is dog friendly as of now, but the dogs are sweet and sociable.
RDU and I-40/440 access are very close and the area is quite convenient almost to anywhere in Raleigh, Apex, Holly Springs or Wake Forest for a slightly longer commute.
I will pay any transfer fees for you and application fees for the apartment, so that's one step you won't have to take if you were to move into an empty apartment! Those fees add up really quick to over $200 dollars so you won't have that burden on you. Prefer someone who can come look, apply and sign a lease with quick turnaround :) I'm going by a 'first to sign a lease, first to get the apartment' policy. The process basically is that if you like the apartment and are a good fit, you just put in an application to the office people, get approved and then we can sign the lease. Thanks for looking!
SERIOUS inquiries only please. Please respond to the craigslist email above with your full name, age, occupation (or school if applicable) and a description of yourself and what you're looking for in roommates and an apartment. I will get back to you quickly if you are a serious inquiry and have answered those questions. Thanks so much for looking, have a great day! :)
