Triangle traffic network has immediate openings for Part-Time Producers/Assistants for Curtis Media Groups Raleigh-Durham traffic reporting service. We are looking for reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to provide support to a number of traffic anchors during morning and afternoon rush hours. Fun, casual work environment in a department that provides timely traffic/road condition information for several radio stations. 2 or 3 hour shifts up to 10-20 hours per week.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates will thrive in a dynamic, team environment and have experience working within a fast paced department; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; have computer literacy; be capable of handling multiple tasks under occasionally severe time constraints and deadline driven. A strong emphasis on attention to detail and high organizational skills are a must. Knowledge of Triangle area roadways is imperative.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Understanding local traffic conditions to clearly and accurately input information.
Proven Knowledge of roadways in the Triangle area.
Assist in monitoring police and emergency services and scanners and live traffic video.
Accountable for interfacing with TTN software applications
Handle multiple phone calls for traffic spotters
Other related duties are required.
