The Center for Volunteer Caregiving is conducting its monthly Volunteer Orientation Session on Friday, NOVEMBER 13, from 12:30 - 2:00pm. Location will be the Garner Senior Center, 205 E. Garner Rd, Garner 27529 (Phone 779-0122)

Our volunteers assist elderly or disabled adults with ordinary tasks to enable them to continue to live at home independently. We are not a personal care or home health agency, just a volunteer coordination organization.
Examples of assistance: Visiting someone who is alone in the house all day, driving someone to medical appointments when they are too frail to drive or ride a bus, doing light housekeeping for someone who can't bend or see well anymore.
