Healthy Children & Teens Needed for Research Study on Lung Function
Objective: Look at measures of lung function compared to thorax (chest) dimensions in children and teens
Subjects: healthy children and teens aged 5 to 21 with no history of asthma or lung disease
Study Activities: participants will undergo a brief physical exam, answer questions on race and ethnicity, then perform spirometry (lung function testing), which consists of deep breathing maneuvers using equipment that measures airflow. Spirometry takes 10-15 minutes; the entire visit should take no more than 1 hour.
