Bone Density Research Study for Young Women Aged 12 to 18
Wake Research Associates is conducting a medical research study of an investigational birth control medication to see its affects on bone density in adolescent females.
To qualify, study participants must:
Be aged 12 to 18
Experience regular menstrual cycles
Be in good general health
Not currently using birth control
Parental permission (if under age 18)
Study participants will receive at no cost:
Study-related medical exams including bone density scan
Study medication
Compensation up to $400 for time and travel
