We are seeking a content writer for a social drinking (Alcohol) based web-application; the content to be created will be partly collection of public domain quotes regarding drinking (Humorous), and some writer-created content as it relates to the application.
The theme and style for the writing will be similar to the writing style of CollegeHumor.com original content (Light-hearted and irreverent.)
Actual deliverables would be approximately:
1) 40 short paragraphs about generated mixed-drink recipes, liquors, or beers.
2) Collection or creation of 120 quotes regarding drinking
3) Modification of text inside of the application to fit the feel/theme; approximately 30 attributes (One line or less) that would need to be addressed.
4) Application instructions, which are expected to be 8 to 10 paragraphs.
If you are interested in writing for this project, please send a sample of your writing in the appropriate style, as well as your estimated time-frame for delivery. If we contact you we will ask that you sign an NDA and work-for-hire agreement before getting into exact project details and showing the exact application for which you will be writing, but we wil answer any questions we can before making our decision. If this contract job is successful there will be future work on the same application in the future. We expect that this project will be paid at the rate of $600 for the above, and on a hourly rate basis for updates and follow-up content creation, but if you would like to propose a different structure please let us know in advance.
