Wardrobe trunk purchased by my grandfather from JL Hudson department store while he lived in Detroit Michigan around 1918. This trunk was made by Meyering Co. of Chicago Illinois for the JL Hudson Department store which was a big department store in downtown Detroit . JL Hudson was a rival to Macy's department store.
