I have a GORGEOUS Barrel Front Secretary.

The secretary is circa 1850s.

The secretary is walnut secondary wood is oak.

Although I am not always a fan of painted furniture, the piece was done very well and is very elegant.

The body of the piece is done in a light grey, the interior of the bookcase is done is a darker medium tone grey which sets of the piece spectacularly.

The hardware is a glass milk hardware.

The enclosed bookcase (which make the desk a secretary) is stacked on top fo the desk. This makes moving much easier.

The secretary has it's original wavy glass. and three shelves.

Dimensions of the secretary are:

38 inches wide
22 inches deep
82 inches tall

*Desk writing height is 29 inches

*The pull out writing space is:

34 inches wide
18 inches deep
