Gold Gilt Frame and Oil on Canvas, thick frame, landscape - $145 (Raleigh)

The frame is most likely circa 1850s and is wood, plaster and gold gilt.
There is some damage to the frame, but I think it only ads to it's rustic charm.
The on canvas is a seascape, or perhaps on a large lake with trees, rocks, water and sailing ships in the background.
The frame is very thick and substantial, and the piece makes a great statement in the room.
There is no signature that I can see on the artwork.
