This bike has some minor wear and cosmetic blemishes, as expected, but it's in overall excellent condition with no rust or issues. The tires are still in great shape with a lot of tread life left. I'm a bike mechanic and I just installed a new chain, tuned it up, made minor adjustments and made sure it's shifting smoothly and riding like new. Now it's good to go with no issues but I stand behind every bike that I sell so if any issues pop up in the near future, I'll fix it.
If you are unfamiliar with the Performance brand, it's the house brand of Performance bike shops, who shut down their stores a few years ago but they maintain an online presence. They build high quality bikes with high quality components that are built to last, similar to Trek, Specialized or Giant bike. This one has a lighter weight aluminum frame, a quick release seat post and quick release wheels, a front suspension, a 21 speed Shimano drivetrain with easy to use grip shifters and high quality 24" tires.
