The Bridgestone Kabuki Submariner was a unique, rust-resistant vintage road/touring bike from the late 70s/early 80s, famous for its main triangle built with stainless steel tubing bonded into cast aluminum "Technart" lugs, making durable and great for coastal/bad weather use, often featuring a distinctive look with unpainted steel and Japanese headbadge. It's known for its stiff ride, practical touring geometry, and unique components like an expander-wedge seatpost, predating Grant Petersen's popular era at Bridgestone.
Super clean example with just a bit of oxidation on the left side of the down tube and on the chrome area of the fork blades.
Some scratches around the chain stays and BB, typical with age/use.
*Quill seat post has several thin cracks starting to show. This seatpost is very rare and almost impossible to find. Luckily it’s made of steel and so it should repairable by any metal fabricator.*
