This is a Wilderness Systems Tempest 17 ft high performance sea kayak in polyethylene with fully functioning skeg in excellent condition. It is highly maneuverable and handles well in conditions from calm to challenging. It works well for recreation, expedition paddling, and everything in between. It is fast, has plenty of initial stability and tracks well on an even keel. On edge it turns well. The three hatch covers are tight sealing rubber for the expedition capacity bulkheads. It has a very comfortable high-performance Phase3 Outfitting foam-padded adjustable seat with tilting leg support, back-band and adjustable hip pads. The thigh braces can be moved to fit different body types. It has a few cosmetic scratches on the bottom but has been stored inside which is a plus. It is too much boat for me now, unfortunately.
