Greenscape Inc. is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented leader to fulfill the role of Business Developer in the Triangle Area. The Business Developer is to develop new business for the branch and oversees initial interactions with the customers and keeps them informed as to all aspects of the proposal process. The Business Developer makes the initial contact with the prospect, prepares, and presents the proposal documents, completes the sale, interfaces with company production and accounting personnel, and communicates with subcontractors and vendors as required throughout the first three months of the contract. The Business Developer is also to achieve the annual budget and and business goals of the branch while maintaining a professional, ethical, and safe corporate atmosphere.


Three years of combined commercial landscape production and sales experience (preferred)
An Associate Degree or higher (preferred)
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess excellent computer skills
Proficient in or able to learn Aspire operating software
Proficient in or able to learn software
Able to make effective presentations to potential clients using technology to create professional displays
Able to hit sales goals for commercial projects annually
Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner
Is a high-energy individual capable of building and maintaining professional relationships with potential clients, associations, and related business professionals
Is able to effectively network with related business professionals and look for opportunities to do so
Requires minimal supervision
Is self motivated
Works effectively with an internal company team
Positive outlook and disposition
Enjoys challenges and problem solving
Able to deal with difficult and demanding clients in a professional manner
Steady, consistent, and dependable behavior
