Have been going through things packed away in boxes for decades and just found this vintage 1988 Vision 2000 Travelers Radio Am/fm Alarm radio which is missing its battery cover but like every electronic item I own was stored without batteries in it to prevent corrosion I just put some batteries into, which requires two AA and one button battery not included, and it works great! Even the alarm I set went off right on time.
And here’s everything about it I found online….
