I am selling my 2004 Mazda 3. It needs major work, so I am letting it go cheap as a mechanic's special, project, or parts donor car. Please read the full description before reaching out!
The Mechanical Issues:
Bad Transmission: It had a transmission fluid leak that led to the gears getting stuck. It is now very hard to get the car to shift at all. It will need a replacement or a rebuild.
Engine Blowback: The car did start and run the last time I tried it, but the engine has some blowback.
Dead Battery: The battery is currently dead from sitting.
The Good News (Towing):
Because of how it sits, the car can be towed with a tow strap! You do not necessarily need to rent a flatbed tow truck if you have a strap and a buddy to help you haul it away.
Great donor car if you need body panels, glass, electronics, or interior parts for your own Mazda 3.
