I am 1 mile north of the hwy 50/hwy 42 sheetz gas station in Garner
I’m slightly negotiable with cash offers but in no rush to sell it..it has been a reliable vehicle when I used it for work. the semi synthetic oil was changed every 4,000 miles with a new fram filter
Now with that said…I gave this vehicle for my elderly father to use as needed before he passed away last year. It wasn’t used for the last 2 years.
5 years ago the power steering rack was replaced with a rebuilt unit ($215.00)
a trailer hitch added (receiver is 1-1/4”) ($279.00)
The stock muffler was removed to install the trailer hitch and a glasspack turbo muffler put in it’s place ($69.00)
(2) new rear kyb gas-A-just shocks ($149.00) added to assist better with towing a trailer .
I sent the vehicle to an independent paint shop to refinish the bumpers to remove rock chips on the front and scratches on the rear. ($200)
4 years ago I installed the factory aluminum rims and center caps(still in great shape) $500.00. (4) Taller new kuhno tires ($425) were installed to increase the ride height and get better mileage on the interstate. It doesn’t interfere with steering or suspension .
3.5 years ago transmission flushed out as per factory scheduled maintenance ($149.00) fuel filter replaced ($24.99)
3 years ago the radiator was replaced, cooling system flushed out($215.00) . 4 months after that both of the cylinder heads were rebuilt when the new head gaskets and intake gaskets were installed . New head bolts installed as per factory service pdf. Fuel injectors sent out to be cleaned and reinstalled. ($900)
2.5 years ago new battery was installed ($129.00) . A few months later it was caught in a light hailstorm where my father went to see relatives. The passenger side windshield has cracking on it., drivers side is good. Pull it yourself replacements are about $50-60.00
In February 2025 the brake master cylinder was replaced ($89.00)
Last month, After going to retrieve it back it didn’t start but it did crank. A new Delphi fuel pump was installed and the gas tank flushed out. New fuel filter installed ($219.00) . After letting it run and get up to operational temps to check heating I noticed a small drip by the heater hoses in the engine bay. The 3way 3/4” T connector was replaced. ($7.99) . No problem with heat operation. I also replaced one of the top post battery terminals ($4.99)
I’m currently in the process of replacing the power steering hose ($79.00) due to a minor leak and going through the brakes. It’s drivable in the yard currently using the e-brake as I also recently washed it from sitting . All doors open and close, power windows and door locks work. Hood and trunk struts all good and operational
With the exception of the passenger front bumper marker light no lighting the rest are all operational
Contents inside the vehicle are only temporary and do not come with it. The newer looking battery I currently have installed that you see in the pictures is from my truck and the wrong size. ( I have the old one charging and will reinstall it after being fully charged)
Just recently as of today Saturday 27 2025 inspecting all the 4 wheel disk (non abs) brakes . The original rear metal brake lines are leaking brake fluid under the car where the drivers rear suspension is. I’m including a new24’ roll of copper coated nickel 3/16” brake line with the fittings…
In summary…to explain the very fair selling price …
The running engine with similar mileage sells for $850
The fully operational transmission sells for $650
The aluminum rims with center caps in similar condition sell for $150 each…
Based on that alone is $2,100.
