2002 Ford e350 converted Ambulance
• If posted its available. 7.3 power stroke turbo engine Allison transmission, 313k
running loud and strong. Known to go for 500k. Just pulled a pontoon boat 6 hr trip
with no problem. Good tires Have pulled cars, RVs, tractors boats with no problem.
Were just now at the point of needing a smaller van no longer doing the 12 hr trips as
often.
• Ac front and rear works, add on backup camera JVC radio
• Ambulance engine control system, simply put parking brake and it will run for hrs
with little fuel use and automatically raise lower engine as needed to keep the
batteries charge.
• Brake controller rv and regular trailer wiring, roof rack front bumper hitch for rack as
• 1000 watt inverter system that will power fridge and lights for around 8 hrs without
being charged.
• 110 volt shore power- window and hot water heater work off that.
• Fridge microwave, plugs lights
• Gray tank for full size shower drain no onboard water supply just city connection
• Cassette toilet works good can be dumped even into a regular toilet as long as you
put chemical in it no odor.
• Hand washing sink with foot controlled pump water
• 2 engine batteries 2 coach batteries
• Have astro van rear seat removable in right now but also have a jack knife sofa bed
that can go with it if desired.
• Top can be accessed from out side or inside. It was added by a guy in california to
drive east during covid. Has reinforced frame metal around it. Have to original foam
mattress that came with it but we put our own up there. We put around 40 thousand
miles on it driving down to ga fl from Jan 2021 on. Side pop top windows have
awnings.
• Vent fan that brings air from bottom up have slept fine in summer and winter there.
Got tire of climbing up so started using the jacknife rv bed more. Used a space
heater in winter and that was more than adequate.
• Heavy rain causes a puddle up occasional leak on top but more annoying than
anything. When the top is popped up have slept in rain storm and never got wet.
• Certainly not perfect little things that can be improved but not 50- 60 thousand
either. Occasionally weekend camping great or pulling toys etc.
• Can be rearranged to however you desire very easily as the floor has wood base.
• Would be awesome 4x4 conversion.
