I have for sale a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport Utility 4-Door 4.0L 4x4 that runs good. It needs some work but can be driven. No check engine lights are on. It has a leaking main seal on the transmission and the cross member that holds the transmission up needs replacing as it is bent from hitting a rock off road at uwharrie National Park. It has been off road a couple of times. I have the new cross member, new universal joints for the driveshaft, and a new transmission mount which come with the sale. I also have a skid plate to go under the transfer case and it comes with the jeep. The A/C works if you charge it but leaks down within a couple of weeks. The horn wouldn't quit blowing so I pulled the fuse. I haven't tried to fix it and don't know what caused it . The heat works good. I have done a lot of work over the years to keep it running good. Installed new computer, fuel pump, header manifold, extra thick exhaust manifold header gasket, automatic lockers front and back. The lockers make all 4 tires pull full time in 4 wheel drive. I also installed tow hooks on the front just in case. It has a lot of miles but I would trust it to go anywhere across country. I drive it occasionally. It has a cracked windshield but has been inspected like that the last few years. Overall it's a good vehicle. It's been to Alabama, Tennessee, south Carolina, Virginia, and all over north carolina.
