We are hiring a licensed Structural Engineer for new residential construction projects in Wayne County, NC. This is an on-call contract position for site inspections and structural verification.
Duties Include:
• Review of footings and foundations
• Structural inspections for county compliance
• Correction guidance for failed inspections
• Engineered drawings when required
• Structural letters for inspections
• Step-down and slope verification
Requirements:
• Must be licensed or able to stamp in NC
• Residential construction experience required
• Knowledge of footing, foundation & framing systems
• Ability to respond quickly for site visits
• Professional communication
