Some time ago I used these for a home theater surround sound system rear channel. They were used for a total of maybe 2 years, and they are in excellent condition. Here is one discussion I found on a forum:
The second post in that thread has a ton of good info.
A review I found on cnet claims these are 12" tall. That is wrong, they are only 10" tall. Also, in my pictures they are sitting on a shelf for CDs and DVDs that is only about 6 inches deep. That is why they look too large for that shelf, it is not a bookshelf.
My pictures show 4 screws sticking out the back of each speaker for wall mounting on brackets sold by BA. I stuck the screws there for the ad so they would be visible in the picture. If you had the special swivel wall mount brackets that Boston Acoustics (still?) sells, you would only use 2 screws on each speaker to attach the bracket. I think you could then use the other 4 to attach the brackets to the wall.
If you want some heavy duty wall mounts (not made by Boston Acoustics) we can discuss it. I also have some Monster Cables and some gold-plated quick connect banana plugs. I will eventually advertise those too.
