We’re looking for energetic, people‑focused individuals to help with our lemonade and coffee cart at local events.
The next event I’m staffing for is happening June 12th & 13th in Downtown Durham.
About the Role
- Assist with tent setup, equipment unloading, and event breakdown
- Serve lemonade, coffee, and other beverages
- Provide Exceptional customer service and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and running smooth
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 20–50 lbs (coolers, water jugs, equipment)
- Comfortable with squatting, bending, and physical setup tasks
- Able to work outdoors in hot weather, especially during summer events
- Able to stand for extended periods
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is great with people and enjoys interacting with customers
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from events
- Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude
- No experience needed — we’ll train you
Growth Opportunity
For the right person, there is potential to move into a part‑time event manager role, overseeing local events, coordinating setup, and ensuring smooth operations.
Schedule & Pay
- Event‑based only (mostly weekends, some weekdays)
- Events typically run 4–6 hours, not including setup and breakdown
- Pay starts at $15/hr with up to $20/hr for someone who can manage events
