Just found these vintage never opened playing cards packed away where they've been for at least 30 years and dont know much about Hoyde other than what I just looked up which says "Hoyle is a phrase used to describe the correct way to play a card game, or the rules of a card game that are considered authoritative. The phrase comes from Edmond Hoyle, an English whist tutor who wrote A Short Treatise on the Game of Whist in 1742. Hoyle was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1979, even though he died before poker was invented" and see similar card selling for as much as $17.95 per pack so feel if you can use these cards our price of both packs for $10 is very reasonable if you like to scoop them up.
