It comes with a skeleton key, with which I'm able to lock and unlock all drawers and doors.
There are three shelves in the upper cabinet, all adjustable. The shelving is solid wood, as are all parts of the piece. The upper cabinet detaches completely from the bottom unit and can be transported easier. The hardware is brass, as are all the locks. The wood grain in the drawer faces, drop-down door and upper cabinet is wonderful. It is a beautiful piece of furniture!
Total height is about 89 1/2 inches. Top cabinet is 46 1/2" tall x 40 5/8" wide x 11 1/4" deep. Bottom is 43 1/4" x 41 3/4" wide x 20 5/8" deep. It is heavy, but not overly so and the shelving and drawers are fully removable.
