This is a classic Early American / Colonial-style round dining set. Includes one table, four chairs, and two leaves.
Table: Round top with a drop-leaf extension; medium-dark walnut/oak stain; Single pedestal or turned leg base; seats 4–6 depending on configuration.
Chairs: Windsor-style spindle back with a carved top rail; saddle/scalloped seats; turned legs with stretcher rungs connecting them; walnut/oak stain to match the table.
Condition: The set has been well-used — serving our family perfectly over many years. The chairs show some wear — with scratching on the seat surface of one chair and some structural repairs on another.
Overall, it's a sturdy, traditional farmhouse/cottage dining set with a lot of character. With some refinishing (sanding and re-staining the chair seats especially), it could look really beautiful again. It's the kind of set people often inherit or find at estate sales.
