It's really a beautiful vintage piece that is not only stylish for its sleek Scandinavian design, it's also very practical and versatile for daily use. There are 2 extensions that are cleverly "hidden" under the main table top. These are easily retracted WITHOUT having to remove the top piece (as shown in photo for illustrative purposes only) Extensions are easily retracted by simply lifting the side of main top and sliding the extension out from its "hiding" place. Each extension adds 14 inches of length so partially extended is 49 inches; fully extended is 63 inches. The table can accommodate 6-8 people comfortably.
This table is exemplary of the Danish-Modern design. It has held up well and is still sturdy and solid and beautiful. It has minimal/minor barely noticeable surface imperfections to be expected of a piece this age. Additionally, there are no chips or cracks or "dings" in the wood. The legs are easily removed for transport by unscrewing a single nut to unbolt it from the mounting bracket.
A quick Google search will show that tables like this sell for well over $1K (plus shipping fees). These well-crafted pieces are timeless in their quality and beauty as well as ability to hold their value. I am asking for a reasonable $975.
