Our fig tree never needs watering or fertilizer or pesticide. It grows very fast. We use certified organic soil and never have used any chemical or any substance on it. The species of fig tree is Ficus carica 'magnolia'
Now, you can have your own at an affordable price. We have cuttings that are up to 17 feet tall for those who want a more sizeable tree right away. Come get cuttings for $10 per 1' of cutting and 4 for $30. Cuttings are measured from the base of cutting to the tip of what is cut. This only will be available for a limited time due to the season. We have several organically grown pomegranate trees that produce abundant and delicious pomegranates. This was an NCSU partnered project to discover and produce the highest yielding, best fruit with zero maintenance for this climate. This past season yielded 150-250 pomegranates per tree, even though the trees are not taller than approximately 15 feet. Our friends with pomegranate trees in NC produce many fewer fruit. The fruit of those friends' trees sour or lack much flavor. In contrast, ours are sweet and juicy, large and with hints of tartness -- better than we've tasted in any store. Therefore, we are offering you different sized cuttings from our tree that can be replanted / propagated by putting in water or soil to grow root and then you'll have a fabulous pomegranate tree with the same genetics as ours in short order.
I also have cuttings for sale of the following delicious edible landscaping all perfected for this climate and not requiring any maintenance: paw paw, goumi berry, Asian pears, Asian (Fuyu and Hachiya) persimmons, kiwi, American persimmons, figs (shown in separate craigslist ad), wine berries, pomegranate (shown in separate craigslist ad) muscadine grapes, serviceberry, mulberry, passion fruit and more. All of these can be propagated via cuttings. I also have full paw paw trees for sale -- unlike elsewhere in the region, to our knowledge, many of these paw paw trees are many years established (you can pick how big or small from 1 foot to ~ 20 feet) and of fruit-bearing age, so you don't have to wait the 6-10+ years to enjoy the delicious paw paws.
And, lastly, in addition to the cuttings and full trees, I have paw paw seeds also available for sale, too.

I have a 20-30+ tree patch of paw paw trees ranging from approx 2 feet to maybe 20' in sizes. These are actual trees of all sizes (to accelerate the fruiting stage) that would be dug out and transplanted.
I also have a lot of interesting cuttings for sale of the following edibles, all perfected for this climate (in partnership with NCSU on a national green building project) and not requiring any maintenance. Cuttings are performed at the time of the sale to ensure maximum freshness and optimize propagation. Here are the organically grown cuttings available:

Except for the passion fruit cuttings, many of which we have rooting in water currently, we wait until the last minute to make the cuttings that you take home to optimize propagation.

All cuttings are $10 for each foot, but buy 3 feet of the same kinds and get one free -- so 4 feet for $30, and are located in Raleigh. The rooted paw paw trees that are growing in the paw paw patch are $50 base charge plus $15/foot). And, our organic hand-extracted paw paw seeds are $1.
