Wheelchair Ramps can be configured in may ways. We offer a site visit and layout service at no charge. We will ensure you have a safe rise/run ratio with platforms at the proper safety interval. We'll also lay out your ramp to have smooth/safe entry into your home and ensure there is still a set of steps for visitors not needing the ramp.
We provide three main options: 1. Purchase a new ramp or lift, 2. Purchase a used ramp or lift or 3. Rent a ramp or lift. We also offer a rent to own option.
Rentals are for a minimum of 1 month, monthly thereafter. (If you have a very short-term need such as a family visit over a holiday, we can pick up the lift early after your event.)
We deliver fully-assembled products when possible or assemble on site (in the case of a ramp.)
We also provide site prep/installation services as well as services to prepare your site -- such as building a landing platform, installing any needed safety barriers, arranging the installation of a concrete pad/sidewalk or moving/adding stairs.
If/when you no longer need a ramp, lift, we offer removal services. Of course, if you are renting from us, we handle the removal after your rental period is over.
We also offer platform lifts -- which is a mini home elevator that provides a platform to allow the rider (and a caregiver, if desired) to either stand or sit in their wheel chair or power chair and move from ground to porch/platform level.
Platform lifts are sometimes more appropriate and even less expensive than a ramp as they take up much less space than a ramp constructed to the ADA-recommended 1 foot of ramp per 1 inch of rise.
