This is a 2024 JQ400R with the two cylinder motor 739cc and Hi-drive track system. 4 hours on the machine. I have done extensive service, maintenance and improvements already, and I have pictures of all of the work. I have the covers that were removed also. I prefer to have easy access vs the cosmetic covers. To make it even better it will need wider tracks ($500) because the thin ones come off too often and it will need counterweights for lifting anything close to or over 500 pounds. I ended up hiring someone to finish the project I got this for. I would like it gone out of my garage, but I’m not desperate to sell it.
I have over $6000 into this machine, parts and accessories combined and that doesn’t include nearly 30 hours of labor time fixing things I already have. I will list what I’ve already done here:
Replaced engine oil. I have extra oil and another filter for next service. Flushed and replaced all hydraulic fluid. Removed, cut and shimmed rear idler pulleys on both sides because they were 5-6mm off from the drive sprocket alignment. Replaced drive sprocket nuts (one was stripped). Tightened all frame and roller bolts and all bolts on unit. Relocated all wiring harnesses so they are not rubbing or pulling tight. Cleaned fuel tank, replaced fuel lines, added additional filter and inline fuel pump run by factory wiring with key on/off (due to startup fuel starvation). Added cow magnets to hydraulic and fuel tank to trap metal debris. Removed motor from bracket and grind down sharp edges on bracket that were touching motor bottom mount plate ( probably wasn’t necessary but I didn’t like sharp edges touching aluminum with something that vibrates). Rewired and corrected the no charging issue. (Generator was not wired to the battery, so it wasn’t charging). I’m sure I’m missing something but I did a lot of work on it. It was stored outside before I bought it. It was new. But has some surface rust. Let me know if interested or have questions.
If you would like to trade me for it, I may be interested in the following things with confirmed value of $4500-5000. Let me know what you have and I’ll research the value and get back to you if it works for us. ATV UTV RTV quads 4x4 prefer with a tow hitch or ability to add one. Side by side with dump bed, gas powered only. Camping trailer under 20ft, registered and in good condition. I think that about covers it.
