Difficult to explain and impossible to categorize, the Versys simply exceeds the sum of its parts. With long-travel suspension and sporty 17” wheels, plus a slim, upright riding position and its low to mid-range focused Parallel-Twin engine, the restyled Versys 650 is a sports partner, city friend and mountain road conqueror all in one.
The Versys is known as a great all-round motorcycle with a great riding position. We see a lot of them commuting and riding locally, and also on the Blue Ridge Parkway as touring bikes. The handling is surprisingly nimble, as tall as it is. This bike has the stock ride height, and has a built-in preload adjuster on the rear shock, from the factory.
Our bike has upgraded:
Dunlop Sportmax Q3 Radial tires- for serious roadholding
An unbiased review:
The bike has fresh oil, all maintenance is up to date, and the chassis check and adjustment points have been tended to. The mileage is VERY low for an example of this bike, you can expect trouble free riding for many years to come.
Maintenance just done at Combustion Cycles:
Minor Service with fresh motor oil, check and lube all points
