CNC Machinist Job Description
Our High-End Lighting and Furniture company is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who can run a variety of CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will set-up, program, perform work quality checks and monitor machine output each hour. If you are a skilled CNC Machinist with 4+ years' experience working for a manufacturing business, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
• Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
• Follow all company safety protocol
• Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
• Set up CNC Mills and Lathes for operators to run
• Program parts from SolidWorks Part Files, DXF's and PDF's
• Cleaning and Maintaining of Equipment

Qualifications and Skills
• High school diploma/GED required, Associates Degree or higher preferred
• 4+ years' experience using production machinery
• Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required
• Must possess strong math skills
• Proven history of working with gauges and calipers
• Proficient with GibbsCam
• Proficient with Fanuc controls
• Conversational software experience (Prototrak preferred)
• 3-Axis experience
• Manual machining experience
• Proficiency in determining correct speeds and feeds for machining steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, and acrylic
