This original Nightbird has a carved spruce top and Kent Armstrong pickups. It has fat slotted diamond inlays and the truss rod cover says Nightbird GG with the GG in script. GG stands for George Gruhn who was one of the main people responsible for the design. The guitar shown here is in need of a fret job and the neck was cracked and professionally glued years ago and is still holding strong. The serial number is BL100243. Comes with a Guild hardshell case. This guitar usually sells for well over $1,500.....I’ll take best offer over $300. Why ? because a lot of people worry about a cracked neck. But, as is common with tilt back headstocks, these get repaired all the time, with no problems in the future. Unless, of course, you knock it over again !!
