These were not cheapies. They probably came out of organs that got parted out. They are, as far as I know, the same manufacturing / performance spec, but from different manufacturers. I'm told that the one on the left was made by CTS. I don't know where the other one came from. You tap the cones both resonate exactly the same. Both have wide, for those days, edge suspensions. Both have vented (from a screen in front) pole pieces.
These came from a time when people didn't really abuse their equipment as much as they do now, but if you've got a five-watt amp and you don't like the teensy speakers that they put into five-watt amps, this might be what you're looking for. If you blow it up, you blow it up. Don't come crying to me.
Thirty bucks takes both. If you weren't too good in school, that's fifteen bucks each. You can't do that?
