Epiphone Les Paul Junior Tobacco burst. Okay, so this 15yr old has dings and scratches, but that’s because it plays and sounds amazing! Action is low and the thicker’C’ shape neck feels great. A previous owner had replaced the stock wrap around bridge with an adjustable one (I don’t have the original). I replaced the original tuners with Wilkinson rotomatics because they were worn and kept going out of tune. No problems staying in tune now. Someone had also replaced the stock pickup with a cheap, no name distortion one which sounded pretty bad. I replaced it with a Seymour Duncan’59 Trembucker and now it sings. Dial back the volume and you get that great, darker, bluesy breakup. Max the volume and you get a clear, well defined distortion. Every guitar player should have a single pickup guitar. You really learn how to find the tones you want. I might end up regretting selling this guitar. There’s really something about it, it’s got a mojo that I hadn’t found in other guitars. My life situation has changed, so I need to downsize to just my Epi LP.
