Fender Cyclone HH Electric Guitar 2002 MIM 24.5” Scale
CONDITION: Twenty+ year-old guitar with fully functional electronics. Frets are level with very little wear. Truss rod working with plenty of relief range. Setup with very low action and little relief to facilitate a light touch for single-note speed and technical agility. But I can setup per your specific playing requirements if you are an aggressive strummer/player.
Body has a few small paint chips and there is one large chip on side body neck mounting edge that was glued back on. Yeah, it looks ugly, but does not negativity affect playability or tuning stability. (Price has been reduced to compensate for paint condition.)
MODS: Stock tone control replaced with a push/pull for splitting pickups for single coil tones. (When in single coil mode, center position is hum canceling.) Total of 6 tones available with 4 hum-canceling positions.
TUNERS: Original Fender 6IL “safety tuners” replaced with a new set of GOTO (Made in Japan) HAP adjustable height (staggard) locking tuners. PN: TK-7679-001
TERMOLO: Stock 2-7/32nd “vintage wide” mounting and string spacing tremolo replaced with a 2-7/32nd mounting tremolo plate but with “modern narrow” 2-1/16th string spacing block. This mod keeps the strings from falling off the edges of the fretboard. The block used for this upgrade is steel versus the stock zinc pot metal; sweet! Also, the stock “bent steel” saddles have been upgraded to stainless steel.
INCLUDES: Guitar, original tremolo plate with original block, plastic back plate with mounting screws, tremolo arm, and a new set of Ernie Ball 10-46 strings. Plus, your choice of either a heavy duty soft-case, or an Ibanez short scale bass hard case.
