This mid 1970s Guild D-35NT is showing it's age and needs a lot of work. Certainly a neck reset and a re-fret, plus an over twenty five year old head stock repair is showing signs of needing attention. It also has a second head stock repair, more recent, that is holding fine.
It's still very playable, but does not play well or as it should.
I've had this guitar a long time and played and recorded with it constantly over the years. I looked into the cost of getting the work done, and it's simply much more than the guitar's market value (what the guitar would be worth in great shape).
I am offering it as a "luthier special" with the thought that if you are an aspiring luthier looking for a really great American made vintage guitar to work on for the experience, training, or a restoration, this may be for you.
