Reason has a lot of really good instrument patches, particularly the real, orchestral and world instrument sampler patches within the NNXT, and a lot of good synth patches too. It also has some of the best midi devices ive ever used, especially when you start combining them in really interesting and creative ways.
I stopped using Reason about a 1 1/2 years ago only because i switched to Bitwig because it does certain things that Reason just cant do that I personally want it to do. But, I have a very niche use case.
