Bilingual Inside Sales & Customer Service (Durham)

We are a global company that specializes in the development, manufacturing, and sales of LED lighting and control products.

Our office near the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina is responsible for sales and service to both North and South America.

We are in search of an individual that is fluent in both English and Spanish that will contribute to the growth of our organization by playing a key role in establishing and developing customer relationships.


The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are:
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails. Our products are not compatible with a hard sell approach, so these exchanges are typically focused on learning about the customer and their needs, not in immediate sales. We are not a high-pressure sales organization.

  • Have a base level of technical knowledge of our product line so that you are prepared to answer basic product questions from prospects and customers.

  • Consult with our in-house technical team for in-depth product knowledge and solutions to facilitate sales.

  • Enter and qualify leads in Salesforce

  • Account and project management

  • Assist and back up customer service with all customer service and general administration related functions.

  • Other duties as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Must be fluent (oral and written) in both English and Spanish.

  • 2 – 5 years of work experience in some aspect of customer interaction, which may include customer service, project management, sales, or tech support.

  • Previous experience with technical products is a significant plus.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and experience with Salesforce (or other CRM packages) is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
