Who You Are
In this role, you will focus on driving innovation, adopting the latest tools and techniques in devops and system administration to contribute to Net32’s rapid growth in a fast-paced e-commerce industry. You will ensure Net32’s IT systems and processes meet the needs of all users (both internal and external). You will manage procurement of hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, assets, inventory, etc. You will define and lead adherence to best practices in network, security, and governance. You will advocate for adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, automation, etc.

Responsibilities
A strong focus on business outcomes and a passion for having technology meet business needs effectively and efficiently
Expertise in systems and IT management and operations
Ability to succeed in delivering quality software/services in a dynamic environment
Maintain health, monitoring, alerting and reporting tools (Nagios, CloudWatch, etc.)
Ensure systems and people are adhering to process and identify where this is not happening
Troubleshoot/resolve SSL, firewall and other network issues when needed
Collaborative, communicative and effective across functional borders
Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Familiar with industry standard DevOps tools
Leverage, develop, deploy and maintain CI/CD pipeline solutions.
Collaborates with team members located in various locations; supports daily operations of a 24x7 work environment.
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Strong grasp of automation tools
Ability to code and write scripts to resolve issues at scale
Provide feedback for changes to systems and processes
Willingness to jump in and take on new tasks to support the team
Strong communication skills and ability to work with many personality types across many teams
Proficiency with Windows OS, RedHat Linux, Mac OS, IIS, and Active Directory

Certifications
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Red Hat: RHCSA and RHCE
VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)

Requirements
10+ years in a system administrator or equivalent position in a medium to large IT organization.
Proficiency with Windows OS, IIS, and active directory
Experience creating, modifying, and running Jenkins jobs
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics
Working knowledge of virtual technologies such as VDI and hypervisors
Experience writing advanced scripts and batch files using Python, Unix Script, or Ruby
Understanding of Scrum, and Kanban development models
Ability to thrive in a very fast paced, start-up environment with the ability to quickly get up to speed, iterate and drive results
Proven project management skills and an ability to prioritize based on impact, while managing internal and external stakeholders
Experience working in a DevOps environment, leveraging continuous delivery techniques
(Bonus) Working knowledge of Git, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins
(Bonus) Working experience and certifications in Unix and Unix-Like Server Administration. Network experience and certifications
(Bonus) Experience with Puppet or similar tool
(Bonus) 1-3 years in an eCommerce or similar industry
