Hello! For the next summer, fall, and spring semesters (June 26 to July 27), I, a 26-year-old PhD student at UNC-CH, am searching for a roommate. The main campus is 15 minutes away by bus from the apartment, which is situated in Carrboro's Villages of Chapel Hill neighborhood. There are two bus routes that are barely ten minutes apart.
My current roommate is moving out, therefore the room will be empty. On the other hand, the apartment has everything I need, including a fully supplied kitchen, living room, and home gym. The apartment has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms (separate toilets, common bathroom). There is free parking directly in front of the house. The rent is currently $620 per person (with a $250 security deposit), and there will probably be a three to five percent rise when the lease is renewed. The average cost of utilities per person is between $140 and $160.
The community is located in a family-friendly location and features a gym, a swimming pool, and walking grounds. Although I'm not sure how it operates, the leasing agency most likely charges a pet fee even though the community and I are pet-friendly. I'm willing to sign a lease for six or twelve months, depending on what works best for you. I am willing to pay a little bit more rent for my bedroom, which is a smaller room with a window, because one of the bedrooms (the one in the pictures) does not have one.
