This rack is in great shape and works as it should. All straps are in great shape, cradles are in great shape and it includes anti-sway cradles to keep your bikes from hitting each other or your vehicle during transport. It's fairly versatile with vehicle fit, and it will fit a lot of cars, vans, SUV's and hatchbacks but it will not fit all of them. I've sold hundreds of bike racks over the years so if you tell me what kind of car you drive, I could tell you if it'll fit or not and I'll happily help you install it prior to purchase if you want.
Note: The rack is only halfway installed in the pictures, just to give you an idea of what it looks like on a trunk. When fully installed, the excess straps you see hanging down would be folded up or tied up securely.
